Walsall Society of Artists aim to inspire, inform and supports the pursuit of creating art. By promoting the sharing and communication of ideas, techniques and experiences among those interested in art. Our monthly meetings are open to the public to attend by paying an entrance fee, but all other activities , WSA exhibitions, art markets, trips and events require you to be a fully paid up member to participate. Our aim is to “Inspire Each Others Creative Journey” ultimately “Empowering Local Artists to Thrive”
Walsall Society of Artists is a community of artists run by artists with the sole purpose of Empowering Artists to Thrive. We have over 120 members from beginner, to professional artists; and those that aspire to create full time. WSA meet every month, develop our skills together inspiring creativity amongst like minded people. Each year we exhibit over 1000 new artworks, within the West Midlands, and surrounding counties, at a very low cost to our members. Our members encompass a wide range of artistic mediums, and genres, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, digital art, metal, fabrics, and dyes. If it’s artistic endeavour, we’ll encourage it.

Under 16’s & Students: £10.00*
*Please only apply for the discounted Student Membership if you qualify. As you will be asked to provide proof of further / higher education before being accepted. You will be required to bring a valid Student Card to the next monthly meeting (Photocopies are not accepted).

Once both steps are complete you will be issued with your membership card at our next meeting. You can find the date of our next meeting on the Member Events page of our website.
The Annual Membership Subscription is an annual rolling subscription to be renewed in twelve months from the initial start date. You will be automatically sent a reminder when your membership renewal is due.

We are open to everyone interested in art and we truly want to “Inspire and Empower Local Artists to Thrive”. At the Walsall Society of Artists we offer a limited number of 12-month bursary memberships. If you would love to join our art society but feel the membership fee precludes you from doing so, then please contact us below and we will advise you on how to apply for one of our bursary memberships.
