Art Markets and Pop Up Events

There are lots of art markets you could apply for throughout the year in Birmingham, and the surrounding areas.
Grassmere Garden Centre, do three Makers Markets a year and last weekend in November, is there Christmas Market.

Walsall’s Makers Fest is another local one with stalls this year there will be two markets one in September and another Christmas Market end of November, stalls are free and will be indoors.

Other Art Markets are held at Ludlow Festive Market, Chatsworth Festive Market, Weston Park Festive Market to name a few. Do your research and take a stall with a friend it makes it more sociable. There are several art markets in the West Midlands, including Midlands Arts Centre, Arts Market, Makers Market and Craft Fairs.

Birmingham Arts Market 

• Moseley Art Market – Established decades ago, this free roadside market, in one of the most Bohemian areas of Birmingham, offers a wide range of artists and makers, as well as the Moseley Farmers market across the road. From 9am til 3pm on the last Saturday of each month (March – December)
• Edgbaston Village Artisan Market – This fantastic market in Edgbaston Village is growing bigger and better by the year. Dozens of amazing artists and makers, interspersed with amazing artisan food producers. From 10am til 3pm on the second Saturday of each month.

MAC’s Arts Market 

• Free markets held in the Midlands Arts Centre’s public foyer
• Features a variety of handmade products, including ceramics, jewelry, and paintings
• Handpicks local designer makers

Makers Market Midlands 

• Celebrates the talents of local, independent makers
• Promotes the talent of the Midlands through its website and social media
• Has an online directory of makers

Craft fairs Trentham Gardens craft and gift marquee, Staffordshire County Show craft and gift marquee, Worcester Bead Fair, Newport show craft and gift marquee, Weston Park staffs craft and gift marquee, Malvern Art Market, Art in the Park in Leamington Spa, Melbourne Festival Derbyshire and Patchings.
