Spring Diamonds Exhibition for Himley Hall 4th April – 22nd June

Open exhibition of members artwork submissions open on the 9th February so dust of those brushes, pencils, pottery wheel and get creating. We have the Corridor Gallery with Glass display cabinets for smaller 3D work, and the cafe area for smallish canvasses. Himley have offered us this extra space as we always deliver a vibrant and eclectic mix of artworks.

Exhibition Key Dates

  • Opens 4th April – 22nd June
  • Submissions Open – 6th February
  • Submissions Close – 9th March
  • Delivery Day – 31st March
  • Collection Day – 23rd June
  • Plein Air Painting Days TBC

If you would like to take part in this exhibition you can to submit up to 3 pieces of work for a total exhibition fee of £10. All artworks must be framed and beneath glass with mirror plates attached. We cannot hang canvas or unprotected artworks in the Corridor Gallery at Himley Hall. Three Dimensional Work can also be exhibited here in the wall set display cases, there is limited space so please submit early. Canvas work can be accepted for the Cafe Area but only smallish canvases No Fixings Required

Final selection is down to Himley Hall Exhibition Team, they curate and install the exhibition.

An Exhibition of Drawings – What’s your drawing medium?

This is a fantastic opportunity to exhibit your drawings, we are hoping to hold a variety of drawing workshops. Jim Moorhouse one of our members loves to draw in Biro, me I love Charcoal its so expressive, Steve Woodhams uses Fine Liners, Susan Brindley loves to draw freehand in Ink. There is such a variety of mediums, pastels, graphite, chalk, and the humble pencil, let’s face it drawing is the basis of most artworks whether its a quick scribble, doodle, the working out of an idea, to a beautiful study.

  • Deliver Artwork 25th April
  • Collect Artwork 29th May
