Pascale’s demonstration.
Posted on May 19, 2019Pascale Bigot, who had not visited WSA before, certainly enthralled members with her pastel work demonstration last week.
Sketch books and numerous examples of her work, in various media, were available to be looked at.
Painting and mixed media works.
Pascale explained how she initially drew and shaded her images using an HB pencil, she then covered the whole image with white pastel.

Adding the skin tones and under painting the hair.
Blending the pastels, adding further details and the finished work which Pascale completed at home.
Pascale also showed how she embelished some of her works with Pebeo relief outliner and paint.
It was a well attended evening and also a much appreciated one.
