My Life in Art by Wendy Priest

Wendy Priest’s Fantastic Solo Exhibition,

Express and Star Interview with Wendy Priest at The Crossing Gallery Walsall

As our former Annual Exhibition Secretary, Wendy worked tirelessly to ensure we all had many Annual Exhibitions to be proud of – and now she has a fabulous exhibition of her own.

Many of you will know Wendy well. But, for those of you have joined us in more recent times, Wendy is pretty much the face of the Walsall Society of Artists, at our meetings, and will invariably be the lady that signs you in and also sells you the raffle tickets.

I am very excited to be holding my first ever solo exhibition”.

I have entitled my exhibition, “My Life in Art.” My exhibition includes a few examples of early A Level Art and college artwork. There are many floral artworks using a variety of media, including pencil, pastel, ink, brush pen, collage, scraperboard and watercolour. There are also a number of mixed media paintings. More recent artworks are inspired by features from the locality; including Walsall, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Smethwick, Dudley, and Birmingham.

To help me celebrate my ‘Life in Art’, I would like to invite you to my Private View at St Paul’s Gallery on Saturday 2nd November, 12.00-2.00pm

You are also very welcome to any of my ‘Meet the Artist’ sessions at St. Paul’s, from 12.00-2.00pm, on the following dates:

  • Friday 15th November
  • Saturday 16th November
  • Friday 22nd November
  • Saturday 23rd November

Wendy is looking forward to seeing everyone

Please be sure to show Wendy some support and I am sure she will be thrilled to see you at one of her events.
