Introducing Our 2026 Creative Project: Art in All Its Forms
Posted on Mar 21, 2026We’re thrilled to launch a brand‑new creative initiative for 2026—Art in All Its Forms—a project designed to celebrate the extraordinary range of talent within our membership.
As you all know, our society is home to an incredible community of artists, makers, writers, performers, musicians, photographers, and creators of every kind. This year, we want to shine a light on all of your skills, passions, and artistic voices. Our hope is that this project will grow into something truly special, culminating in a celebratory showcase during our 76th Annual Exhibition.
How the Project Works
Each month, one of our members will share an original creation.
From there, the rest of our members are invited to respond to that artwork in any medium they choose. Your interpretation might take the form of:
- A drawing or painting
- A piece of pottery or sculpture
- A photograph
- A textile or embroidery
- A poem or short story
- A piece of music
- A dance interpretation
- A digital artwork or animation
- A collage or mixed‑media piece
- Or any other art form you love
This is your chance to explore, experiment, and express yourself in whatever way feels right.
Kicking Us Off in April
We’re delighted to announce that our April featured artist will be Jean Walker, who is kindly launching the project with an original piece.
You’ll have until 30 April to submit your creative response. Please email your work to thewalsallsocietyofartists@gmail.com with the subject line: Art in All Its Forms.
Whether your response is bold, subtle, abstract, literal, musical, written, or entirely unexpected, we can’t wait to see what you create.
Want to Be a Featured Artist?
If you’d like the chance to have your work selected as a monthly starting point, simply send us an email along with a picture of your creation.
This project is all about celebrating the diversity of artistic expression within our society. We hope you’ll join in, try something new, and enjoy the creative journey ahead. Here’s to a year filled with imagination, inspiration, and art in all its forms.
Have fun creating!
