I’ve seen Alison demonstrate for WSA several times now and each time I’ve left having learned something new.
Alison initially trained at the Slade School of Art in London and later studied advanced scene painting in New York when she was a freelance scenic artist in the theatre.
On leaving the theatre Alison went on to teach life drawing to art students as she believed in the importance of passing on the traditional skills often no longer taught in art schools.
She has been a full time artist for over 10 years and, although she does life painting and landscapes, she is probably best known for her equestrian works of racing, hunting and gypsy horses.
