Unveiling of “Istanbul” – A Painting by Delilah Lee

Unveiled at Salt’n’Pepper, Turkish Restaurant in Walsall

Salt’n’Pepper owner Harun, commissioned WSA artist Delilah Lee to create a painting of Istanbul last summer. It has been a painstaking journey with Delilah referencing her photographs and sketches of her travels to Turkey. To then create a composition that would show a genuine flavour of the historic setting of Istanbul, and its vibrant street traders, selling, spices, bread and tea. I think you would agree that she has certainly delivered and Harun and his family were delighted with the result.
