CAROLE BAKER, THURSDAY 14TH JUNE, 7.30pm/9.30pm

On Thursday of this week we have the return of Carole Baker to demonstrate using acrylics.

It’s been a few years since Carole was with us last, probably before she moved to her new home, Plough House,  in Shropshire.

Carol  trained as a graphic designer and ran her own business for 18 years. In 2007 she began painting full time and in 2008 she was elected Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. She has become internationally recognised following articles published in ‘International Artist’ and ‘Artist’ magazines. Carol is very much inspired by the landscape. She works with a limited palette, using acrylics, watercolour and mixed media, experimenting with different colourways to achieve the right mood and atmosphere.

Currently she is one of four artists exhibiting work at Kerry Vale Vineyard, Pentreheyling, Shrops.. This exhibition continues for the remainder of the year.

In July Carole will be at Patchings, in ‘The Artist’ magazine marquee, demonstrating and talking about her work

Carol holds special open days throughout the year at her studio at, Plough House, Weston Heath, Nr Shifnal, Shrops.. TF11 8RY   In conjunction with other artists she also takes part in the Mid-Shropshire Open Studios two weekends in the year, 21-22 July 2018 and 17-18 November 2018.
