JOHN HORTON, 7.30pm, THURSDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER

 

This month John Horton will be demonstrating a landscape with birds for WSA.

 

 

      

 

 

 

 

John’s favourite medium is watercolour and his art covers a wide variety of subject matter from general landscape and wildlife through to animal portraiture. He specialises in large watercolour paintings depicting birds in the landscape, the subject of his demonstration on Thursday.

Inspiration is taken from the natural world. Where ever he travels he always has his sketchbook and camera to hand to capture events and ideas for new works. All these references inform paintings created back in the studio.
