PREVIEW EVENING

A good evening at the NAG for the preview of WSA’s 69th Annual Exhibition.
Thank you to all the members and friends for attending. It certainly makes all the effort worth while.
Our chair, Pat Hoskisson, welcomed everyone to the event and proceeded to thank the Gallery staff for
hanging/exhibiting our works and also for producing the catalogues.
She then introduced local artist, sculptor and very interesting person,
Robert Bowers, who had so kindly agreed to officially open the exhibition this year.
Rob’s comments were very complimentary and encouraging.
He was impressed by the standard of work on view and he gave
advice to individual members on alternative exhibition venues
and marketing of work.
Some WSA members will be demonstrating their skills, up on the 4th floor, each weekend the exhibition is on . If you visit, please leave a comment about the exhibition in the book provided and also vote for the work that impresses you most.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 6th January, 2019.
