FEBRUARY ISOLATION GALLERY.
Posted on Mar 09, 2021What news? NONE as far a saying when meetings will return at St. Martin’s. We’re still playing the waiting game unfortunately.
Isolation submissions are still coming in though thank goodness. THANK YOU.
If you recieved the newsletter last week you will know we have two competitions on the go
A. Design a Christmas Card to be printed and sold on belhalf of the Society. Entries submitted via email to me or hard copies sent to
David McGuire,
2 Rosewood Park,
Cheslyn Hay,
Walsall, WS6 7HD.
The closing date for all entries is Wednesday 30th June 2021.
The winner will be announced in August and the cards should be for sale from September. Prize for best design is £25.00
B. A Virtual Exhibition. As our ‘live’ exhibitions are non existant, members can submit one art work in jpeg form to me at www.walsallsocietyofartists .co.uk
All entries to be labelled Virtual Exhibition in the subject box below the email address box.
Closing date for submissions is Saturday 4th July.
SUBMISSIONS ARE ALREADY COMING IN!!!
All entries will, hopefully, be uploaded on to this site by 2nd August to be viewed and voted on by WSA members. Vote via email, address above. One vote per member.
The winner will be announced in September and will be awarded £25.00.
There does seem to be some confusion about payment of membership fees for this year. The committee decided it was unfair to ask for membership fees whilst there’s nothing for you to join in with so MEMBERSHIP IS FREE FOR 2021. UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A DONATION TO THE SOCIETY.
Membership forms have been sent out as we need to confirm, or update, the contact details of all members. We would be grateful if the completed forms are sent in ASAP.
Enjoy the gallery.
