Delilah Lee ‘Licence to Paint’
Posted on Nov 28, 2024‘Licence to paint’ by Delilah Lee
Local artist Delilah Lee is doing a solo exhibition @ St Paul’s Gallery, The crossing in Walsall. Everyone is more than welcome to come along and see these creative paintings in oil and mixed media. Her work is inspired by her travels, reaction to world events as well as fantasy inspirations. If you are curious and want to know more about Delilah and her work, there are lots of dates available for you to come and see what it’s all about.
Delilah is a Canadian born artist who now lives in the U.K. She has always loved painting and drawing from a very young age. She studied fashion illustration at college Lasalle in Montreal, Canada and attended several art lessons in Kyiv, Ukraine. Oil is her preferred medium as she loves the flow of the paint and the vivid colours. She is mostly self-taught and constantly learning new skills by studying books, going to museums and researching the internet.
Delilah’s extensive travels have proven a great source of inspiration, as well as events happening in the world around her. She also enjoys exploring various styles and techniques allowing Delilah to have a voice through her work and portraying it artistically. This exposition is an attempt for her to reveal her personal journey expression through art. Delilah’s hope is for the images to bring as much joy to everyone as it does for her to produce and create them.
