1st demonstration of 2017, Thursday 12th January at 7.30pm

The list of demonstrators for 2017 is being opened by WSA member Shane Wiseman who, as many of you know, is a wildlife artist.

Shane’s life has becoming busier and busier since he turned proffessional a few years ago.

He demonstrates, runs workshops, has two classes at Forrest Art Centre, attends art and craft events and, of course, exhibits the works he somehow finds time to create. He has also recently becom a PA with the Society for All Artists.

Shane, who uses mainly pastels on velour paper to create his images, has travelled widely in search of inspiration. Not only has he visited many places in this country looking for subjects for his works but has also journeyed as far afield as Morocco for bird watching and Kenya for sightings of the Big Five.

He certainly loves his wildlife and this is evident in the three works he submitted to the WSA 67th exhibition at the New Art Gallery Walsall. The picture above, ‘Catch of the Day’, being one of them.
